Bruges- Brussels- Luxembourg

Day 1  I love looking at Flixbus and available options so I was pleasantly surprised to find you can get a coach from London all the way to Amsterdam, stopping at Bruges and Brussels too. If you dont mind coaches and want to travel on a budget, this is a great option.  I got a 19:30 coach from Victoria London Coach Station which arrived in Bruges at 4am the next day. Flixbus sorted out the ferry and everything.  Day 2 The 4am arrival in Bruges was interesting as there’s not much in the coach station so you could be waiting a couple of hours for things to open. The early arrival did mean I was there to enjoy the empty city at sunrise which was beautiful and made the morning in the coach station worth it. πŸ“Minnewater Park  πŸ“Church of our lady  πŸ“Boniface Bridge (Bonifaciusbrug) πŸ“ Basiliek van Het Heilig Bloed πŸ“ Sint-Salvatorskathedraalg πŸ“ Grote Markt  πŸ“ Belfort πŸ“ Historium Bruges πŸ“ Jan van Eyckplein Lunch in the centre  πŸ“ Belfry of Bruges, Mar...

Welcome 🌍

Welcome to Much Ado About Travelling Travelling has become a slight addiction of mine and I have started this blog to encourage other teachers to travel during the holidays. Sometimes our holidays can be a double edged sword of lots of time but prices are sky high. Whether you’re a teacher or not, you can travel on a budget and still enjoy and explore new countries. I have thoroughly enjoyed travelling most of Europe but that is on pause as I enter the next chapter of my life in Malaysia. It’s important to reflect on where you have been and the travel partners you have enjoyed travelling with. I also want to share my top tips.  Some of my top tips:  ⭐️ Don’t decide where you want to go. Use sites like skyscanner to see where is cheap on the dates you want to go by using the ‘Explore Everywhere’ option.  ⭐️ Research how long is recommended in each city because some cities you can enjoy in a day and some you need more time. It really depends what you want to go and see....
